Biography

Marcy has worked in accounting, auditing, and consulting since 1998. Her public accounting experience has focused on consulting and auditing of health care related organizations, with a heavy emphasis on senior housing and long-term care.

Marcy has assisted numerous health care organizations, including rural and community-based primary care facilities, managed care organizations, outpatient care facilities, outpatient surgery centers, multi-and single-specialty medical groups, mental health centers, community health centers, and independent practice associations (IPAs). She typically helps with operational efficiency analysis, controls analysis, cash-flow projections, budgeting projects, and other operational engagements.

Marcy participates in over 60 of the benefit plan audits performed annually in the Portland office, on which she serves as either engagement reviewer or concurring reviewer. She has experience auditing benefit plans of all types and sizes, including single-employer, multiemployer, pension, 401(k), and health and welfare plans.
