Biography

Anna has been handling California and multistate sales and use tax transactions since 1992. Her clients are primarily in the energy, construction, technology, leasing, manufacturing, agricultural, and retail industries. Anna provides sales and use tax transaction planning and compliance, including transaction structuring, determination of product and service taxability, and creation of tools to assist clients with sales and use taxes in daily operations. She also provides analysis and procedural recommendations for transaction processing; nexus analysis and planning, including voluntary disclosure agreements; due diligence projects involving the calculation of FAS 5/ASC 450 reserves; state tax audits and appeals; and sales and use tax refund reviews.

Anna began her career as an auditor with the California State Board of Equalization conducting sales and use tax audits of area businesses. She also spent several years working for Big Four accounting firms doing sales and use tax consulting, and she worked for a Fortune 500 company where she assisted with the implementation of Sabrix, a sales and use tax software.
