Biography

Robert has focused on risk management since 2000. With a primary focus on financial institutions, his expertise includes financial management and analysis, loan underwriting, loan review, statistical modeling, capital planning, stress testing, model risk governance, and credit and financial risk management. Robert has managed risk teams across the country, performed detailed financial analysis on countless commercial borrowers, and effectively managed multi-billion-dollar loan portfolios.

Prior to joining Moss Adams, Robert spent 15 years with one of the largest banks in the United States, where he was critical in implementing several risk management initiatives, including BASEL II and III. He served as the deputy director of credit risk assessment and was most recently a senior portfolio manager responsible for managing all aspects of the credit process for the bank’s municipal loan portfolio. In his various roles, Robert conducted risk oversight activities focused on improving the bank’s management of risks and achieving compliance in a changing regulatory environment.
