San Francisco Office

The San Francisco office is home to professionals who provide accounting, tax, and consulting services to domestic and foreign-owned private, public, and not-for-profit enterprises in a wide range of industries. These include financial services and institutions, construction and real estate, health care, manufacturing and consumer products, technology, media, life sciences, and government. We’re recognized as leaders in tax services for both SEC-registered and privately held companies and provide specialized services including cost segregation, state and local tax, estate planning, and research tax credits. Our wide range of consulting and assurance services include Statements on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 16, Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404, SEC audit services, internal audit services, royalty compliance services, health care consulting, and construction audit and consulting services. We offer a full-service private client services and wealth management practice geared toward business owner succession as well as a transaction services and manufacturing consulting division.

The San Francisco office’s commitment to workplace excellence and wellness drives our community involvement and focus. For years, Moss Adams staff and partners have given their talents and time as board and committee members for some of San Francisco’s most prominent community organizations. We volunteer to instruct accounting seminars and classes at local universities, and we participate in organizations that improve the quality of life for people locally and worldwide. Since 2012 several of our partners and employees have been privileged to work with buildOn, raising over $175,000 to help build schools in impoverished countries. In 2013 we instituted Helping Hands Day, at which employees from the four greater Bay Area offices provided over 475 volunteer hours to nine local not-for-profits. We annually support the Family Giving Tree’s Back to School and Holiday Wish drives.

We’re also active members of more than 20 regionally based trade associations, which allows us to contribute to the growth of business and industry groups in Northern California through board memberships, event sponsorships, and program development.
