Anthony has practiced public accounting since 2007. He manages financial and operational audits, with related cost savings and efficiency improvements recommendations, for financial institutions. Anthony has experience with SEC filings and registration statements, mutual-to-stock conversions, and M&A. He’s proficient in all phases of audits, including HUD reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley and FDICIA control testing, fieldwork, and report preparation. He has worked with many financial institutions including community banks, thrifts, mutual banks, SEC public reporting banks, and mortgage banking companies.

Brianna Brown

Brianna has practiced public accounting since 2013 and serves clients of financial institutions as well as employee benefit plans. She manages financial audits of financial institutions, including credit unions, community banks, and SEC public reporting banks, and is proficient in all phases including HUD reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley, FDICIA control testing, and report preparation.

Brianna’s experience includes SEC filings for large, complex credit unions. Brianna has considerable experience leading audits of employee benefit plans for financial institutions, having worked through a wide array of plan-related compliance errors and corrections. She works closely with clients to provide recommendations for enhancing internal controls and improving efficiency.

Dustin Birashk

Dustin has worked in public accounting since 1999. He serves financial institutions and financial services organizations, including community banks, credit unions, thrifts, mutual banks, SEC banks, mortgage banking companies, not-for-profit financial services organizations, and bridge financing companies. He’s responsible for financial audits, operational audits, and other consulting engagements. Dustin has experience with IPOs, SEC reporting, mutual-to-stock conversions, start-up institutions, M&A consulting, HUD reporting, and Sarbanes-Oxley and FDICIA control testing.

Emina Cresswell

Emina has practiced public accounting since 2007. She is the tax co-leader of the Washington region’s Not-for-Profit Practice. She focuses on tax compliance and consulting services for a wide range of not-for-profit clients, including public charities, private foundations, credit unions, and utility cooperatives.

Emina also has extensive experience advising not-for-profit organizations on formation and termination of tax-exempt organizations, Forms 990 and 990-T, state reporting issues, tax reform implications, unrelated business income, related organizations, and taxable subsidiaries.

Greg Marshall

Greg has worked for the NCUA for 32 years and has been a national training specialist for 20 years. Before becoming a national training specialist, he spent 18 years performing credit union examinations and supervision as a principal examiner in the western part of the US. Greg holds instructional design and delivery certifications and is responsible for developing, designing, and delivering various NCUA courses, workshops, and conferences.

Heidi Berenbrok

Heidi has over 20 years of experience working with financial institutions, both in industry as an internal auditor, and as an external auditor with Moss Adams. She has practiced public accounting since 2000, serving a variety of financial institutions and consumer and specialty finance entities.

Heidi leads the Denver Financial Services Practice as well as the Employee Benefit Plan group. In addition to serving financial services clients, she works with 401(k) and 403(b) plans for clients in a variety of industries. Heidi’s focus is on financial statement audits, internal control evaluations, and loan file reviews.

Jane Han

Her experience includes Sarbanes-Oxley and FDICIA control testing, loan file reviews and credit evaluations, employee benefit plan audits, and report preparation, including review of SEC filings and registrations statements.

John Mitchell

John has more than 53 years of experience making economic presentations on the region and nation. He was a professor of economics at Boise State University for 13 years, before joining U.S. Bancorp in July 1983. He was the chief economist of U.S. Bancorp until July 1998, and served as the western region economist for U.S. Bank until July 2007. He currently travels across the nation to present to a variety of different groups sharing his extensive economic knowledge and insights.

Kelsey Gilbert

Kelsey has practiced public accounting since 2018. She specializes in the audits of both public and privately held companies, primarily in the financial services and hospitality industries. She has extensive expertise with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance. Kelsey’s experience ranges from SEC reporting to first-time audits of private companies. She leads engagement teams performing SOX audits, financial statement audits, reviews, and internal controls assessments.

Ryan Henley

Ryan Henley leads Stifel’s fixed income’s financial institutions strategy group, which works closely with executive management teams and portfolio managers in providing balance sheet strategies and analyses related to economics, interest rates, investments, and interest rate risk management.

Ryan focuses on the interpretation of shifting regulatory and accounting environments. Ryan is a frequent speaker at national and regional banking and financial conferences.
