Biography

John has over 30 years of experience in state and local tax, primarily in public accounting. His areas of expertise include state income and franchise tax and sales and use tax. He also has experience with credits and incentives and property tax.

John has assisted clients in a broad range of industries including energy, construction, financial services, and various other types of service companies including internet-based services.

John has experience implementing state tax restructuring projects, providing representation for state tax audits, and obtaining major tax refunds for his clients. Additionally, John lectures for various professional organizations including the Tax Executives Institute and the Texas Society of CPAs.
