One of the most exciting and diverse cities in the country, San Francisco is home to world-renowned restaurants, cultural attractions, and neighborhoods. It’s a place where you can run or ride your bike along the water, hike in the nearby redwood forests, stroll through a museum, and enjoy a night at the symphony. It’s also known as the West Coast’s finance capital and a hotbed for technology. It all combines to make the Bay Area one of the most desirable places in the nation to live and work.
You’ll be exposed to the firm’s largest industry groups. From the fast-paced worlds of technology and real estate to the highly regulated environments of financial services and health care, we serve a wide array of public and private companies, varying in size from start-ups to large public clients to not-for-profits. You can work across these client types before choosing the industry and specialty—audit, tax, or consulting—you want to focus on.
The San Francisco office is located in a high-rise office building in the bustling South of Market area, but in spite of its size, the office fosters a close-knit culture. You’ll work closely with mentors, developing your career and making connections across the firm at all levels. In fact, 10 of the firm’s national practice leaders are based here, giving you access to leadership in a range of industries.
The San Francisco office was established more than 50 years ago and houses more than 200 employees. Professionals here provide everything from traditional audit and tax to transaction services, IT consulting, and business owner succession. The wide variety makes it a great place for you to develop your eventual areas of expertise.
We volunteer at local not-for-profits as part of Helping Hands Day, support Family Giving Tree with an annual backpack and holiday toy drive, give computers to San Francisco State University’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, and host an annual Intern Community Service Day. Many of our partners and employees are also involved with buildOn and its efforts to build schools in impoverished areas around the world. Their efforts have raised enough money to travel abroad to build three schools.
