Albuquerque, N.M., September 16, 2013 — Moss Adams LLP, one of the largest accounting and business consulting firms in the nation, welcomes Dr. John Tysseling as a consulting director in its Albuquerque office.
In his new role, Dr. Tysseling will expand the scope of the firm's advisory services nationwide, drawing on his more than 30 years of experience in consulting and applied economic analysis.

Prior to joining Moss Adams, Dr. Tysseling served as chief economist for the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department, where he managed the analyses of comprehensive tax policy issues and forecasted revenues exceeding $6 billion annually. Dr. Tysseling has also been an expert witness in more than 60 judicial and administrative cases before more than a dozen federal and state courts and administrative jurisdictions.

Dr. Tysseling received his Ph.D. in economics with a focus on applied natural resource economics and natural resources law from the University of New Mexico. He has written for and presented in peer-reviewed journals, trade journals, client project reports and assessments, formal business plans, energy and utility master plans and economic forecasts.
