SEATTLE, July 24, 2018—Bringing together health care executives from around the nation, the Moss Adams Annual Health Care Conference focuses on industry changes and the future delivery of care as providers face smaller margins, shrinking reimbursement and evolving shared-risk payment models.
Hosted by Moss Adams, one of the largest accounting, consulting and wealth management firms in the nation, the 2018 Health Care Conference will take place Nov. 15–16 at the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa in Las Vegas.
“Faced with sweeping regulatory reform, health care professionals manage an increasingly complex landscape when it comes to providing quality, affordable patient care,” said Chris Pritchard, national practice leader for health care at Moss Adams. “The conference provides an opportunity for executives and thought leaders to address complexities and plan for what’s next.”
The day-and-a-half-long conference brings together leading health care executives and analysts from across the nation to discuss the industry’s hottest topics—including the future of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, success stories on delivering care utilizing risk-sharing and value-based models, transformation occurring in behavioral health, corporate finance and capital infusion for health tech, market disruptors and more.
Keynote speakers and moderators include:
- Dr. Tom Price, former US secretary of health and human services who served in the Trump administration
- The Honorable Patrick Kennedy, former representative in the US House of Representatives and national advocate for mental health care
- Susan Dentzer, senior policy adviser at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and respected health policy thought leader and journalist
- Dr. BJ Miller, hospice and palliative care specialist who treats patients with terminal or life-altering illnesses at UCSF Medical Center
- Kevin Cable, cofounder and managing director of Cascadia Capital, who leads the Healthcare & Digital Health Practice
“For 23 years, the conference has served as a great resource for executives to gain insight from high-caliber speakers and network with other industry professionals,” Pritchard said. “This year is no exception. Our 2018 Health Care Conference will help industry professionals gain perspective around pressing topics—such as managing risk and capitalizing on new opportunities.”
