RegisterMichael was a Senior Partner with Ernst and Young and was Global Industry Leader for EY’s real estate, hospitality and construction practice, and served as a Senior Partner in America’s Risk Management where he designed and implemented enterprise risk management solutions. Michael has had senior management roles in the US and Latin America and his background as a CPA and attorney enables him to assess business challenges from various perspectives and add ideas and solutions and promote consensus among disparate parts of a company. Since 2012, Michael has served as board member and CFO for Newport LLC, a middle market advisory services company based in San Francisco, CA.
Kris has spent his entire career at Moss Adams, starting in 1989 in the firm’s Seattle office before transferring to our San Francisco office. There, he started the firm’s Technology Practice in the Bay Area and led the Bay Area’s Manufacturing & Distribution and Retail practices. Today, Kris provides assurance and business advisory services to both public and private companies in a variety of industries. His close, hands-on approach to client relationships enables him to effectively and creatively advise clients on a wide range of business matters. He has extensive experience reviewing and presenting financial statements with shareholders, boards of directors, and audit committees. A frequent presenter and speaker in the Bay Area, Kris has also been featured on the cover of California CPA magazine for an article about Sarbanes-Oxley matters. In addition, for five out of the past six years, he has been a local technical expert for the AICPA’s Conference on Current SEC and PCAOB Developments.
Mike has been providing accounting, audit, and consulting solutions since 2003. His clients come from a wide variety of industries, including technology, manufacturing, employee benefit plans and professional services firms, and range from start-ups to closely held businesses to publicly traded multinational companies. Mike has established accounting systems, prepared financial statements, and implemented control procedures, spin-off subsidiaries, and divisions. He has also helped clients establish international operations, implement employee stock ownership plans, conduct due diligence for acquisitions, and develop goals and business priorities.
