He is a certified appraiser in oil and gas operations, and his specific expertise includes oil and gas reserve valuation and machinery and equipment valuation for clients in the energy industry. Jim’s valuations have supported purchase price allocations; federal, state, and international tax structuring; estate planning; mergers and acquisitions; bankruptcies; financial reporting and tax matters; insurance; fairness opinions; solvency; litigation purposes; and damage estimation.

Julie Desimone, Partner & Power, Utilities, and Renewable Energy Practice Leader, Moss Adams

Julie has been providing auditing, accounting, and consulting services since 2000. She serves clients in the energy and utility industry, including enterprise funds of governments. Some of her specific areas of focus include: advanced utility accounting, regulatory assets and liabilities, technical auditing (including A-133 single audits), contracting, internal control evaluation, litigation support, and relationship management. Julie currently serves on the firm’s training and development committee, audit task force, and recruiting program.
