Ryan Joyner, PhD, MPH, EMBA, Director, Moss Adams

Ryan has driven quality improvement within health care organizations since 2013. He specializes in aligning leaders and systematizing operations to execute organizational strategy and has successfully supported multiple high-stake strategy deployment and implementation engagements. These include the implementation of a sweeping transformation of the behavioral health service programs for the public health department of a major US city, a successful $111 million cost saving strategy for a regional managed care organization, and, most recently, the successful Medicaid recertification for one of the country’s largest skilled nursing facilities.

Malie Maysilles, ME, MPT, Director, Moss Adams

Malie has provided quality improvement to clients in the health care and consumer products industries since 1993. She is a skilled educator and assists clients in the development and implementation of processes and strategies. Malie began her health care career as a physical therapist at a university-based hospital, where she was selected to participate in the hospital’s quality academy for her high-quality patient and family care. She also worked as a senior lean specialist at a regional medical center, where she managed the revenue cycle and primary care service lines. Malie served as a principal at Rona Consulting Group (RCG) until it combined with Moss Adams in 2017. RCG’s founders were early adopters of the Toyota Management System in the health care setting.

Baljeet Sangha, MPH, FACHE, Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Director, San Francisco Department of Public Health, San Francisco Health Network

Baljeet has more than 12 years of health care leadership experience, serving on the executive leadership team one of the leading public health departments in the United States. He’s a member of the education committee for America's Essential Hospitals and the Finance and Counselors Committees for the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). He’s board certified in health care management, a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and a fellow of America's Essential Hospitals.

Troy Williams, MSN, RN, CPHQ, CPHRM, CENP, Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Quality Officer, San Francisco Department of Public Health, San Francisco Health Network

San Francisco Department of Public Health, San Francisco Health Network Bio: Troy has nearly 30 years of nursing operations and quality leadership experience across multiple continuums of care. Troy has extensive experience as a hands-on bedside clinician in inpatient psychiatry and psychiatric emergency services. He has worked diligently to partner with other key leaders across the health system to drive coordination and integration, ensuring performance improvement standardization where applicable and professional development among quality management and nursing staff. Troy is known as an effective people leader and collaborator within a highly matrixed environment, using data to drive performance improvement decisions. He deeply shares the mission of protecting and promoting health and well-being for all in San Francisco and understands the complexity of meeting this mission within the realm of patient care.
