He assists private equity companies and strategic buyers through all phases of the acquisition process, including initial deal analysis, financial and accounting due diligence, valuation, identification of synergies, and integration. Prior to joining Moss Adams, Gassen was a director at a Big Four firm where his work included financial due diligence, restructuring, and corporate finance projects.
Mike is the senior managing director with Gladstone Capital, a leading private credit fund focused on $10–$50 million investments in US businesses across all sectors. Mike leads the firm’s investments in founder-owned businesses, helping owners execute private transactions for personal liquidity, M&A, shareholder buyouts, and organic growth in a wide range of industries. Prior to joining Gladstone, Mike worked with Deerpath Capital and HIG Capital in their lower middle market strategies.
