Biography

Colin has practiced public accounting since 2013, with a cross-industry focus on state and local tax (SALT) and credits and incentives consulting services.

Colin has broad experience across SALT, including both direct and indirect taxes. He has helped clients determine state tax exposure through nexus, apportionment, taxability, and modeling studies. He has drafted complex letter ruling requests and technical memoranda, and assisted in administrative controversy matters. Colin regularly consults on the Oregon Corporate Activity Tax and local Portland metropolitan area taxes.

Colin advises clients on federal and state zone, hiring, and investment-based business incentives, including possible tax credit monetization opportunities.
