Biography

Jason has built his accounting and consulting experience since 1996. His focus is on middle-market technology and entertainment companies, whether publicly traded or owned by private equity or venture capital. Jason brings particularly deep expertise in SEC reporting and with issues of revenue recognition, share-based compensation, Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance, intangible assets, business combinations, and convertible debt.

His experience includes two years as a professional accounting fellow in the Division of Corporation Finance at the SEC in Washington, DC. His fellowship focused on SEC registrants in the life sciences industry, giving him valuable experience with the commission’s evolving policies and procedures resulting from the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
