Kate has been in public accounting since 2006. Her focus is primarily health care organizations. Kate has a unique combination of technical experience from serving clients in a wide array of industries including health care organizations, governmental, and not-for-profit organizations. She functions as the engagement senior manager leading the audit process for over 35 health care, not-for-profit, and governmental agencies. Her specific experience includes audits in accordance with Government Auditing Standards; Uniform Guidance for Federal Awards contained in 2 CFR 200, Audits of States, Local Governments and Non-Profit Organizations; and the Accounting and Audit Guide for Healthcare Organizations issued by the AICPA. Kate also provides one-on-one client service for questions on accounting matters throughout the year.
Kate serves as a board and finance committee member for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northern California. She also serves as a finance committee member for the Girls Scouts Hearth of Central California. Kate is involved with and, and presents on, topics at the California Primary Care Association CFO conference. She was a recipient of CalCPA’s 2017 Women to Watch Award in the Emerging Leader category.
