Biography

Ken has practiced public accounting since 1986. He primarily works in business consulting, providing business valuations and litigation support to clients in many industries. Ken also has extensive experience in general taxation and financial statement preparation for clients in the construction, real estate, manufacturing, agriculture, and service industries.

Ken’s valuation experience includes acquisitions and divestitures, minority shareholder actions, valuations under ASC 820, C corporation conversions to S corporations, intangible assets, martial dissolutions, charitable contributions, and estate and gift tax planning. Ken has conducted complex damage studies involving lost sales and profits, breach of contract, product failures, federal tax controversies, wrongful termination, criminal tax defense, and eminent domain actions.

Prior to joining Moss Adams, Ken was a founding partner of Morse Wittwer Sampson, a full-service accounting and consulting firm located in Fresno. He has received the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credentials from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Accredited Senior Appraiser designation from the American Society of Appraisers.
