Biography

Matthew has practiced public accounting since 2008. His wide array of audit experience includes financial statement audits, SEC reporting, IPO assistance, mergers and acquisitions, and control testing for companies in the technology hardware and software, clean technology, and biotechnology sectors. His clients have ranged from private start-ups to Fortune 50 SEC registrants. Matthew has smoothly managed multiple auditor transitions and first time audits for both public and private companies.

Matthew’s expertise includes extensive US GAAP technical accounting experience, including ASC 606 and ASU 2016-01 adoptions, hedge accounting, inventory and manufacturing cost accounting, accounting for complex debt and equity financings, and share-based payments. Prior to joining Moss Adams, he spent more than a decade at a Big Four firm, which included international assignments in both the European and Latin American regions.
