Scott has practiced public accounting since 1995. As the Northwest Regional Assurance Leader, he’s responsible for the hiring, development, and deployment of our business assurance professionals across Washington and Oregon. He earned the Moss Adams Technical Excellence Award for his dedication to developing our practice serving broker-dealers, registered investment advisors, trust companies, and pooled investment vehicles such as hedge funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, and collective trusts.

Scott is well versed in the accounting and auditing issues unique to these industry sectors, as his practice regularly requires him to evaluate a variety of internal control structures, investment portfolios, fair value measurements, and compensation arrangements in a regulatory environment.
