Biography

Steve is experienced in valuation for financial reporting including fair values for ASC 820, ASC 805, ASC 842, and ASC 360. He’s the national leader of the firm’s real estate Consulting Valuation Services group.

Steve focuses on fair value of real estate assets, debt and equity, corporate real estate, M&A, bankruptcy and reorganization, public and private tax incentives, and litigation and disputes. He also provides market feasibility studies, cash flow analysis, highest and best use studies, and tax benefit studies.

Steve also has extensive public sector and P3 advisory valuation experience working with the US government, local municipalities, military service, colleges, and universities. He has corporate real estate experience in asset monetization strategies, lease impairment estimates, M&A activities, and site location analysis. He’s also qualified as a real estate valuation expert in US Bankruptcy Court and Pima County Superior Court.

Prior to joining Moss Adams, Steve served 27 years at Big Four firms, including 15 years as principal and managing director in transaction real estate.
