Biography

Chris began his public accounting career in 1998. He leads the firm’s M&A Tax Services and is a member of our transaction services group specializing in Subchapter K.

Chris specializes in partnerships, real estate, and private equity transactions and serves as an advisor to private equity firms, investment partnerships, and portfolio companies navigating complex deal structures and tax strategies.

Chris leads a team dedicated to delivering tailored tax solutions for every stage of the transaction lifecycle, from pre-deal diligence and structuring to post-deal integration. He has a deep understanding of partnership tax issues, including debt modifications, allocation methodologies, carried interest planning, 704(b) compliance, and basis step ups. Chris works closely with fund managers, general partners, and investors to design tax-efficient structures that align with both investor expectations and long-term business objectives.
