Fred has been practicing public accounting for over 20 years. He is a partner in the Professional Practice Group, serves as the director of Accounting and Financial Reporting, and is a SEC Services leader. He focuses on emerging issues that impact the firm’s clients and consults on complex SEC matters and other areas related to accounting, auditing and financial reporting. His areas of expertise include public and private offerings (including IPOs), multinational audit engagements, business combinations, stock-based compensation, intangibles and goodwill, and SEC regulatory matters.
Fred’s experience includes a Professional Accounting Fellowship in the Division of Corporation Finance at the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission in Washington D.C. Fred is currently the chair of the Smaller Firm Task Force, a member of the Audit Practices Task Force of the Center for Audit Quality (CAQ), and a member of the SEC Regulations Committee of the CAQ. During his career at Moss Adams, he has worked in both our Seattle and Los Angeles offices.
