Biography

Ted has been in the property tax field since 1990. He has extensive experience and success minimizing client property taxes through valuation appraisal, strategic planning, negotiations, project management, and hands-on application of advanced financial methods and applications. Ted has implemented various strategic property tax products and services including exemptions (pollution control, Freeport), abatements, complex industrial valuation analysis, corporate restructuring, property tax credits and incentives, property tax compliance filing strategies, and property tax appeal and audit representation.

Prior to joining Moss Adams, Ted was chief operating officer of a regional tax consulting firm in Dallas, director at two Big Four firms, and managing director at an international accounting firm. His experience also includes leading the property tax department of a nationwide retailer and working as an appraiser for the second largest property tax assessor in Texas.
